About This Play

RENT is a raw, high-energy musical celebrating community, creativity, and survival in the face of adversity. Designed for Geoids Musical Theatre in London, this set captures the gritty urban world of the show through a bold, multi-level scaffold structure that allows fluid movement, strong ensemble staging, and rapid transitions between scenes. Industrial materials, exposed platforms, and dynamic playing levels create a flexible environment that supports both intimate moments and full-company numbers, making the design practical, visually striking, and ideal for rental by companies looking to stage a contemporary, urban musical.
